Create an Inexpensive Light Box for Digital Photography

This step-by-step only covers the basics of creating the light box or light tent. Setting up lighting and setting up your camera are beyond the scope of this basic tutorial. However, once you have your box, simply experiment with placement of light around your box. The photo on this page was one of my first experiments. With light coming in from both sides and my camera on a tripod directly in front of the box I snapped this mostly shadow-free shot. It's presented here with a minimum of post-editing.
