Create a Black and White PostScript File in Publisher 98

Print a Proof

Proofs are generally run throughout the design process but should always be printed after the file preparation is complete. After preparing a file for printing to a printer other than an in-house printer, the proofs from the in-house printer may only approximate how the final printed publication will look.

With the publication open, select:

    File | Print Proof...

NOTE: What happened to my Print command? Changed your mind and what to print from your own desktop printer (not a proof) but your File menu only shows Print Proof...? You'll need to go back into File | Prepare File for Printing Service... | Set Up Publication... and then select the first option: "I've decided not to use a commercial printing service, thanks." in order to get your regular Print... command back.
