Image photographed with a Nikon CoolPix 800 digital camera. This baby blue jay lost his momma. In this pic he's sitting on a branch in our red bud tree trying to decide what to do. It was a windy day as you can tell by his ruffled feathers. He doesn't fly very well yet so a little later he returned to the ground and went hopping a way in search of non-people friends.
