View a Font Sample in ATM For Windows

With Adobe Type Manager (ATM) you can view and print a sample of a font in various sizes.
Difficulty: Easy
Time Required: NA
Here's How:
  1. Open Adobe Type Manager. It will probably be under Start > Programs > Adobe.
  2. Select a font from the window under the Fonts tab.
  3. Right-click on the font and choose Show Sample. A new window opens with information about the name of the font, the file names, and a type specimen in sizes ranging from 10 point to 72 point.
  4. To print the sampler page choose Sample | Print from the menu. The printed sample page has additional sample text and includes the font at 8 points.
Tips:
  1. If you need to know the exact file names for the PFM and PFB files for your PostScript Type 1 fonts, they are listed on the sample page for you.
