Using PostScript Type 1 fonts with Windows 3.1/Me/98/95/NT requires using Adobe Type Manager (ATM). With Adobe Type Manager you can view and print a sample of a font in various sizes. You can also change the default text string that ATM uses to display font sample text.

Here's How:
- Open Adobe Type Manager.
It will probably be under Start > Programs > Adobe. - Go to Settings.
Select the Settings tab in Adobe Type Manager. - Go to Advanced Settings.
Select the Advanced button in Adobe Type Manager. - Change Text.
Under the Sample Text section change the default string under Sample Sheets from 'Just keep examining every low bid quoted for zinc etchings' to a font sample text string of your choice. - Save Your New Sample Text.
Click OK to save your changes to the font sample text string.

- Some example text strings you might try:
- The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog.
- Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet, consectetuer adipiscing elit.
- Amazingly dumb, quixotic font choices keep jumping out everywhere.
- Try some of these desktop publishing pangrams as sample text.
- Try to use a variety of upper and lower case letters in your font sample text in order to get a better idea how the font looks in use.
