How I Created My Business Card
Illustrator and Pagemaker (because I print my own).
Logo in Illustrator, remaining layout Pagemaker for ease of printing two sides.
I went through at least five or six designs in two years before I finally decided on the two color, simple clean design I ended up with. Really, I didn't have to write that, except they won't let me post without 200 minimum words.
What I'd Do Differently
- Make it one side for ease of printing, otherwise nothing.
The Software I Used and Why
Illustrator and Pagemaker. Because I'm not working commercially at this time, otherwise I'd use InDesign if I were sending it out to a print shop.

Four sides to include more information. If the card is sent to someone you don't have to explain what you do.
The Fonts and/or Images I Used and Why
Font - Kabel ITC
Image green leaves in logo. Drew them in Illustrator.
Our city loves their trees and I've always leaned toward being green before it was 'fashionable'.
The Paper and Printing Method I Used and Why
White Cardstock
QMS-Magicolor Color Laser Printer. I already own it and I don't print too many cards at a time.
