8-up Business Card, with bleed set manually
Even though your business card may be only 3.5 x 2, you'll need to tell PagePlus SE that's it's a little larger to accommodate elements that will bleed off the card if using this manual method.

To manually create the appropriate bleed allowance in Serif PagePlus for printing 8-up business cards, you need to tell the software that your business card is just a little larger than normal. A typical bleed allowance is 1/8 of an inch (0.125 inches). So, for a 3.5 x 2 business card, you would add 0.125 inches to all four sides for a total of one quarter of an inch more in width and height: 3.75 x 2.25 inches. If you're making a business card that is a different size, add a quarter of an inch to whatever that width and height may be.
Follow these steps:
- Select Page Setup from the toolbar, or
File > Page Setup
- Select Small Publications for the Publication Type.
- Select Paper
- Select Wide Business Card from the list.
- Set your Publication Size to Width: 3.75 inches and Height: 2.25 inches and Portrait for a standard US size business card, with bleed allowance (otherwise, set it to the specific size of business card for your perforated card stock plus the bleed allowance).
- Click OK.
IMPORTANT: When using this manual method you will need to adjust the space between individual cards as described in Fine-tune Your 8-up Template and do not check the Bleed option of the Prepress tab in your Print Dialog box when you are ready to print your business cards.
