Just as too many fonts detract from the visual appeal of a document and increase file size, so do graphics -- including scanned photos, borders, clip art, and other decorative elements. Complex effects such as WordArt, BorderArt, and gradient fills also increase the complexity of any PostScript file you create in Microsoft Publisher and can cause printing problems. Use such effects sparingly.
