Use Brighter Paper for Vibrant Colors

By , About.com Guide

For the brightest and most vibrant color, you'll generally want to choose the brightest papers. However, it is only one factor to consider. The colors in the image you are printing as well as the paper finish also affect the final printed image. You can't always trust the numbers. Your eyes are your best judge of which paper works best for you. Experiment to find the best brightness of paper for the bulk of your photo printing or other printing needs.
