Use Scissors Tool to cut a curve out of a shape

Here I have reshaped the square using the Scissors Tool to cut a curved piece out of the shape. With the Scissors Tool I have first clicked on the stroke (outline) of the square. Then I clicked again lower, on the stroke still, and holding down the mouse button, I have dragged towards the right. You can see a bezier curve appear in the first part of the illustration and then you see the end result in the lower part of the illustration.
