So how do you set up margins in InDesign? There are several ways.

The first one and the most simple one is by opening an document and then setting up the margins in the New Document window. Here it is step by step:

  1. Go to File > New > Document.

  2. There is a section called Margins. By default, margins in InDesign are all the same. But, didn't we just read that they shouldn't be that way? Exactly! You have paid attention. Aahh!
