Draw a Basic Rectangle

1. Select the rectangle tool in the Tools palette
2. Click anywhere on your page and hold
3. Drag your cursor down and across the page
4. Release the mouse button

   If you want a rectangle with all sides of the same size, i.e. a square, keep Shift pressed as you drag your mouse.
