When all you need is the data, a tab delimited file may be the best method to use. However, if the table has extensive formatting that you don't want to recreate, then grab the entire image. Excel can create a variety of bar charts, pie charts, and graphs. The same procedure works for them as for the table.

  • Open the worksheet then copy the table of data or the chart to the clipboard. In Excel, select either the range of cells or the chart, right click and choose "copy"
