Definition: The use of specialized, consumer-level software to create computer crafts and projects such as greeting cards, banners, signs, iron-on transfers, and photo albums with a computer and desktop printer, especially inkjet printers is often referred to as creative printing.

Creative printing software is usually characterized by ease of use, templates, wizards, bundled clip art and fonts, and specialized programs designed for one or two specific tasks (such as just for greeting cards). May be referred to as desktop publishing although it is really a subcategory.
