Definition:

A heavy, stiff paper with a basic size of 20" x 26", cover paper, also known as card stock may have matching book paper with the same colors and finishes.

If purchasing card stock for use in a desktop printer, check the manufacturer's specs to be sure that your printer can handle thick, high caliper paper. A printer with a straight paper path is generally more suitable for card stock.
