Add Perspective

Change the perspective of the frame.

With the frame layer still selected, use the perspective tool (Tools > Transform Tools > Perspective) to make your frame lay down under (as seen here) or stand up behind and to the side of your subject (as seen in the hippo statue photo at the beginning of this tutorial).

Simply push and pull the corners of the bounding box around to change the perspective. In the GIMP you'll see both the original and the new perspective until you click on the Transform button in the Perspective Toolbox.
