Question: What is the Best Adobe AIR App for Designers?
What is the most fun, useful, or educational Adobe AIR app for use by print or Web designers? You tell us. Originally part of our 2010 Reader's Choice Awards, there weren't enough nominations to support a vote. Perhaps the Adobe AIR apps haven't gained a large enough foothold. However, there are still a lot of useful ones out there and we'll tell you about them as we learn about them.
Answer: The best Adobe AIR app for designers is for any Adobe AIR application that can be used for print or Web design tasks.
Here are a few to consider:
Chalkboard
"...a little chalkboard that you draw on. I use it to scribble quick ideas with diff. colors of chalk. sometimes drawing a little sketch helps me as a reminder or to rough out an idea when I don't want to open up my drawing programs." -- kim
"Just cute way to make quick color sketches for my idea file." -- ChrisSplashup
"...simple photo editing. It won't compete with Photoshop or even other free programs like gimp but it's quick and easy to use. No waiting for big bloated programs to load. ...Nothing fancy just add text do some cropping or resizing that sort of thing." -- Valarie
If you have suggestions for good Adobe AIR apps, add them.
