Hanging Punctuation Visual Alignment
Alignment looks better when the quotation mark is ignored
Hanging punctuation is another example of visual alignment. Ignoring the quotation marks and aligning the rest of the text just looks better. Pushing the quotation mark outside the left edge eliminates awkward white space.
