Announced in April 2012, the new CS6 has been whittled down from the five suites in CS5 to four by combining the nearly identical Design Premium and Web Premium editions into one. Previously CS4 had eliminated the Web Standard edition. The primary differences now are bundles for print/Web and bundles for video.

Additionally, the new Creative Cloud option gives you access to everything you'll find in the boxed sets plus extras for a monthly fee. CS6 is on pre-order as of April 23, 2012.

Discover at a glance what each suite contains in the table, below. Most of the individual components of the suites are also available as standalone products so you can build your own custom collection. A subscription option (different from the Creative Cloud) is offered for individual components for those who only need occasional access or want to avoid large upfront purchases and upgrades.
