Try all of these options for viewing your document:

  • The Standard Toolbar has + and - signs inside a magnifying glass for zooming in (+) and zooming out (-). Click the appropriate magnifying glass then click anywhere on the current page.

  • Select an object then press F9 to zoom in and press F9 again to zoom back out.

  • View double pages (two page spread) by selecting View | Two-Page Spread from the menu bar. This acts a toggle switch. Selecting it again will return to single-page view.

  • Quick Zoom by clicking on the + or - sign in the Page Controls below the document window. Each click will change the zoom percentage incrementally from 10% to 400%. The current Zoom percentage is shown in a window next to the plus and minus signs.

  • Click on the current Zoom percentage shown in the Page Controls to choose a specific zoom mode from a pop-up menu. The choices are Full Page (Whole Page in 2000), Actual Size, 10%, 25%, 33%, 50%, 66%, 75%, 100%, 150%, 200%, and 400%.

  • Right-click in the publication and then click on one of the zoom options.

  • Microsoft Publisher 2000 and later contains a "Zoom to Page Width" option that allows the user to specify custom zoom ratios.
