| Class Description | I am taking a mailed desktop publishing course from ICS and I haven't gotten my Adobe Pagemaker Program yet. I am beginning to feel that desktop publishing requires a lot of experience and I am wondering where the best place is to get on the job experience. My hope had been to start a desktop publishing business at home but I am beginning to feel that I lack the experience and ablilty to venture into that area. I do a lot of volunteer work and have done many flyers, posters, and cards. I designed a cube for a meeting in October where 1,000 women are expected. Each attendee will receive one of the cubes that I designed! I am honored to know that many people will own something that I designed. |
| Tips/Advice | I don't really have any advice but I thought that you might enjoy this joke from James Ruchala's About.com joke of the day! Q. Why did the cartographer put a band-aid on the map? A. Because it had a bleeding edge. |
