| Business Description | Foreign language graphics is my department. I am a project managers for a translation company. We work in Mac and PC because we must follow what each of our clients has and wants. We work with most major softare programs. Each day brings new challenges as we try to sort out and solve complex issues. Typical obstacles include compatiblity between fonts, printing, web browsers, involved in cross-platform, cross-cultural and multilingual projects. Asian double-byte characters, Hebrew or Arabic right-to-left, or just unusual fonts compound adjusting design and graphics to meet text expansion characteristic of translated material. I like challenges so I find it all interesting. The biggest stress is determining what I should know and be able to make happen and what is impossible. Then I have to get the impossible done another way. |
