Definition: Appearing on master pages and on every page in the document that is based on the master page, master guides are non-printing lines that aid in text flow and alignment of objects. Master guides can include column guides, margin guides, and ruler guides. Changes to these master guides affect the guides on all publication pages that use the master guides.

Examples:
