This online newsletter page is from 2001 and may contain some outside links that are out-of-date (no longer working). However, because it also contains links to various font downloads and tutorials from this site it is being kept online.
Sometimes Weekly
OK, this is supposed to be a weekly newsletter but since the last issue was April 3 and now it's April 30, weekly is a bit of a stretch. So let's just call it sometimes weekly and if I get another issue up next week, it'll be a nice surprise for both of us!
Featured Fab Font #1
A fresh font from Ray Larabie, he describes Vademecum as "a linocut font for the beatnik poet in your family." In addition to the usual suspects, it comes with "symbols and accents for Central European, Turkish and Baltic." Definitely best at display sizes.

Featured Fab Font #2
I spotted Cheese and Mouse on one of the big free font archives and thought it was terribly cute so I went to the Web site for the font author and found more cute and cuddly creature fonts including fish in an aquarium. This is one of those fonts that work best if you use a graphics program and turn the letters into mini works of art. It's letters only.
