View Guides in Microsoft Publisher
Try all of these Options for viewing guides

Learn how to differentiate layer and ruler guides and how to hide them from view or delete them entirely. For those learning Publisher after learning PageMaker or QuarkXPress, layout guides are the equivalent of margin and grid or column guides and ruler guides are the equivalent of page or local guides.
  • Layout guides are blue and pink dotted lines.

  • Ruler guides are green dotted lines.

  • Go to View > Hide Boundries and Guides to hide the layout guides from view.

  • To delete a Ruler Guide, press the Shift key, click on the guide, then press Delete.

+ means "and" that is, Ctrl+1 means hold down the Control and 1 keys simultaneously. When plus refers to the plus sign, (plus) appears in parentheses as in Command++(plus) means hold down the Command and Plus keys at the same time.
