Speed Up Approval on Proofs
Proofing shouldn't be skipped, but it doesn't need to take forever

The more people who have to sign off on a job, the longer it takes. Talk to your client about reducing the number of people in their organization who have to review and approve intermediate and final proofs.

Carefully mark or otherwise indicate specific alterations, especially small changes that a client might overlook. Provide a checklist for all important items not visible on your proofs (colors or special inks, paper specifications).

Communicate to clients upfront that a even a brief one day delay in approving changes or corrections can delay the final delivery by two days to a week or more due to the schedule of the printer.
