Get Ideas from Onine Image Searches

Online image databases are good for more than just finding the perfect image to download and use. Browse their categories or do keyword searches to find images that illustrate a concept or idea that you are struggling to illustrate yourself. Find out how other designers approach the idea. Look for common themes in color or subject matter to help you visualize ideas for your own material that conveys the same feeling. Don't stop with searching for images that fit your theme. Think opposites. Do a search for images that convey exactly the opposite then imagine what the opposite of that image might be.
