Well you can show how much you care by letting the recipent know "I made it myself!" It can be as simple as a small line of text that says "Card designed by Jane Doe" or it can include graphics, a logo, or your signature.
If you are creating greeting cards for a customer or to sell direct, you may want to include your business name and contact information (such as phone number) -- but do keep it simple (and make sure that the credit is part of your agreement with the client).
When it comes time to print your final greeting card, don't forget that final proof. Before putting your creation on expensive photo paper or greeting card stock print a final proof in draft mode.
- Check the text and graphics and layout one more time.
- Check margins and alignment.
- Fold your proof and make sure everything lines up correctly.
- If printing multiple copies of the final card, first print just one at high quality on the desired paper. Check color and ink coverage.
