Edit (Clip Art)
- Change the appearance of an image. Can involve resizing, recoloring, adding or deleting elements, combining two pieces of clip art into one, changing the shape, orientation of an image (rotate, flip).
Resize
- Change the physical size or dimensions of an object. Can be resized proportionally or distorted by making the height smaller and the width narrower, for example.
Recolor
- Change one or more colors of a piece of clip art.
It is beyond the scope of this lesson to go into all the ways there are to edit graphics as well as the right and wrong way to make changes and resize images. For the purposes of this class we will stick with simple editing options commonly available in most desktop publishing or graphics software.
