Typographi.ca, uh, com
Tuesday October 19, 2004
So, that's what happened. I noticed my typographi.ca feed disappeared a few months ago (Typographica: A Journal of Typography). At first I thought it was a temporary glitch. Later I wondered about what happened but managed to miss any mention in the blogs and RSS feeds I semi-regularly follow. Finally, this evening I went googling around for info and discovered that they've had to move to typographi.com due to some Canadian legal requirements for domain names. So, in a quick sweep of their archives I've found these three interesting typographic tidbits to tempt you:
I know it's a bit belated, but welcome back Typographica.
- The Manual of Linotype Typography is described as "one of the best-designed and most-complete specimen books ever produced."
- Thinking with Type: A critical Guide for Designers, Writers, Editors, & Students is favorably reviewed.
- Fans of shows like CSI and NCIS will appreciate Forensic Typography and the 2004 Campaign
I know it's a bit belated, but welcome back Typographica.
