While these may not be terms you hear often, you've probably seen one or the other or even created pages using one of these techniques. Exercise your page layout prowess:
Stair stepping: Another term for anti-aliasing, it's also the way some people arrange text or images on the page. It's not necessarily a good thing.
Gutter jump: When your text or images cross the space between pages don't let the wrong elements fall into the gutter.
