September ended a little flat for me. Flat tires. Yes, plural. And not just flat, shredded. But on a brighter note, September also brought us a slew of new Adobe InDesign videos. The first batch I highlighted in a collection that focuses on the interface and tools. In addition to these instructional videos, I put together an overview of some suggestions for those of you doing page layout for a set of instructions such as product assembly brochures or instruction manual. Even if you didn't write the instructions, how you arrange the steps and illustrations can go a long way toward making them easier to follow.
And in case you missed it, also new in September:
- Shear Tool - what it is, how to use it
- Headshot - get tips on using this kind of photo
- Text Paper - not just for words
- Web, Mobile, and Multimedia Publishing - where does desktop publishing fit in?
New User Reviews focused on PrintMaster printing issues, waste of money, and frustrations. But Serif PagePlus got high marks for versatility.
