Have you or your team created some exceptional design projects over the past year or so? From Adobe to IDEA to Summit, there's a call for entries in various design categories. Some deadlines are coming up in December and January.

  • 2010 Adobe Design Achievement Awards - Categories include interactive media and various traditional media categories such as illustration, packaging, and print communications. Deadline for submission: June 4, 2010

  • The Dieline Awards - Recognizing excellence in package design, categories include food, books, and electronics. Deadline for submission: December 21, 2009

  • IDEA - International Design Excellence Awards '10 - In addition to various product design categories you can enter packaging designs and there's a category for student projects. Deadline for submission:  January 25, 2010 (with late submissions entry ending February 8, 2010.

  • Print in Motion - Time is running out for submitting to Print Magazine's design competition for designs in motion graphics. Categories include film titles, music videos, and commercials. Deadline for submission: December 15, 2009

  • 2010 SEGD Design Awards - For achievements in environmental graphic design, past winners have included  design of "complex wayfinding systems, branding and identity work, retail and interior projects, exhibition design, and public art installations."  Deadline for submission: January 29, 2010 with late entries til February 12, 2010.

  • Summit Creative Awards 2010 - Created "to recognize and celebrate the creative accomplishments of small and medium sized advertising agencies and other creative companies" with categories that include print advertising, marketing materials, websites, and industry self-promotion. Deadline for submission: January 25, 2010
