After several attempts I was finally able to download the Microsoft Office 2010 Beta over the weekend. Although I haven't had a chance to dig into it much, I do have a bunch of screenshots I made in Publisher 2010 that show off some of the new and improved features.
I really like the ease with which you can add ligatures and other stylistic text. As with all these sorts of gee whiz features, I can see where some users may start overdoing it though -- adding so many swashes and flourishes that it negates the specialness of those special characters. So, please, please, please use restraint.
