Contests With Computer/Camera Prizes

Friday November 6, 2009

One way to save money on desktop publishing is to get stuff for free. And you don't have to go dumpster-diving for some of the best freebies. Just enter a contest. OK, there's no guarantee you'll win, but it doesn't hurt to enter. Some of the prizes you can try for right now include a course in digital photography or a digital camera, a crystal-embellished  laptop computer, or thousands of dollars worth of office supplies.

  • A lot of the prizes in the Electronics Sweepstakes compiled by About.com Contests/Sweepstakes are home theater or gaming-related but you'll also find the Fujifilm Picture Perfect Halloween Photo contest. You have until November 9 to sort through all your Halloween photos and submit your best shots. One of the prizes is enrollment in the New York Institute of Photography Short Course: Fundamentals of Digital Photography. Other prizes include digital cameras.

  • Want your laptop to be as stylish as the designs you create for yourself or clients? Enter daily until November 13 for a chance at a Swarovski-crystal embellished Dell Laptop designed by Douglas Little in this ELLE Magazine sweepstakes. Prefer mother-of-pearl over cyrstal? Another ELLE Magazine sweepstakes runs through November 20 with a prize of a laser-etched mother-of-pearl covered Dell laptop designed by Douglas Little.

  • Are you a small business of less than 50 employees in the US? You may qualify for the Deluxe Business Makeover Sweepstake. There will be 3 grand prize winners of a $5,000 DeluxeBucks gift certificate for logo and web design and a $10,000 Target Commercial Interiors gift certificate for office furniture and other supplies.

  • Apple-lovers may want to check out the T Marzetti - uDip Instant Win Sweepstakes for prizes like iMacs, iPods, and iTunes gift cards.
