Just got back from the Blanton Museum of Art where the current exhibition is Birth of the Cool: California Art, Design, and Culture at Midcentury. Part of the exhibit includes magazine covers from Arts & Architecture magazine. The magazine's web site shows off all the Arts & Architecture covers from January 1945 to July-August 1967. Very cool retro art -- and very few covers feature buildings. Without the title I wouldn't have pegged it as an architecture mag just looking at the artwork.
