This isn't your usual list of top free fonts. Some pros may shun free fonts because it seems so many of them are suitable for just one project here or there. This particular list compiled at iShift are not a bunch of dripping blood fonts, scrawled handwriting, and wild or wacky decorative fonts. For the most part their 22 Most Used Free Fonts by Professional Designers are serif and sans serif font families that are suitable for a wide range of applications including headlines and body text. Do you use any of these?

Compare this to an iShift earlier listing of 21 Most Used Fonts by Professional Designers that includes such familiar commercial font names as Helvetica, Frutiger, and Optima.
