Getting Fancy With Word Processing

About.com Word Processing Guide James Marshall writes, "If your documents require advanced layout options, you may be best using a desktop publishing program. But for the average user, Word is sufficient to create great looking documents." Then he goes on to provide some specific page layout options and tips for Microsoft Word. Sure we can grumble about how a word processor isn't the right tool for a lot of fancy page layout tasks, but when it's all that someone has to work with, then the more productive thing to do in the moment is teach 'em how to make it work to their best advantage.
