At Day's End

Monday August 25, 2008
When you've had a good day of work, how do you end it in a way that helps ensure the next day is just as good. A lot of us may have a wind-down routine for the day as a whole but this Vandelay Design posting offers up 9 specifics ways for freelancers to end a productive day. Most of these are things you do at your desk or in your office as a kind of recap of your day and prep for the next day.

(found via Design Float)

So, what are your end of the day routines? And what about a streamlined process. Some of the things mentioned in the 9 ways list could take quite a chunk of time. Are there some quick and easy alternatives that you employ?

You asked what do I do at the end of a work day - and to that I say - exercise - my husband walks up to about 4 or 5 miles, he walks and its doing him a lot of good. It gets his blood pumping, reduces stress (he is in computer programming - tech consultant) and he’s losing a lil weight he’s gained by sitting every day at his computer. Myself - I too exercise - I go to a ladies workout center (Curves) and I love it. I get to release all the stress, and think up new ideas as I’m working out. I also get to meet new friends and in the end, I feel better. I’ve also lost 18 pounds in the process and I’m fitting in my clothes. Fresh air and getting the metabolism going really works wellfor getting the brain working. I recommend it to everyone - yes, everyone!!!
