Do you work from home? I've been working from home for almost two decades. But even with all that practice I sometimes find myself doing it wrong. Not that there's necessarily a wrong way to work from home, but there are things you can do (or not do) that can making running a home-based business more pleasant, more productive. Like these Top 30 Tips for Staying Productive and Sane While Working From Home at the Zenhabits blog.

For me, #1 is sometimes tricky -- having a room dedicated to work. Over the years I've had an actual room in the house devoted to my home office -- several different rooms. But due to remodeling (still or again depending on who you ask at our house) I'm currently office-less. But with or without an office, I've found that when I actually do it, things like keeping to a schedule, having a good chair, and starting off the day by not just rolling out of bed and plopping myself in front of the computer (guilty!) do make for a more productive work day.

What are some of your tips for making the most of the work at home environment? And which of these freelance design myths have plagued you the most?
