Will You Upgrade to CS3?

Wednesday March 28, 2007
Adobe Creative Suite 3 starts hitting shelves and online stores in April with some editions coming later in the year. Are you itching to upgrade or will you stick it out with your current suite? And if you plan to switch to or upgrade to CS3, which edition will you choose? Vote in our polls.

CS3 offers a choice of 6 editions: Design Premium and Design Standard for print and Web, Web Premium and Web Standard for Web design and development, Production Premium for video, and the Master Collection to cover all the bases.

Also see Sue Chastain's post about CS3 with some important information on upgrading.

I’ve been watching the Adobe release video (was at work and couldn’t see it live.) I will almost certainly be upgrading. I did one dumb thing: got CS2.3 premium a bit too early so no free upgrade. But I really want this, and I have a new MacBook Pro (Intel Mac); CS3 is a universal set of apps so will run native, while CS2 doesn’t.

adobe screwed up… we need a good compeditor to step in CS 3 is overpriced… and them forcing you to upgrade to master is out of hand!!
