For the most part, desktop publishing software has fallen into two groups: consumer programs with a lot of fun, gee whiz features but less than suitable for commercial printing or small business use, and professional programs that cost far more than most small business or home users can afford and can be time-consuming to learn and master.

There is an in-between group that straddles the gap and includes programs like Serif PagePlus and the much-maligned Microsoft Publisher. Another option is CeledyDraw 2. Similiar to CorelDRAW, CeledyDraw is heavy on the graphics features. But it is also an admirable page layout program. At well under $100US, CeledyDraw 2 is an excellent, affordable choice for home users, small businesses, and students who want pro features but ease-of-use.

You can download a 30-day trial version to check it out for yourself after you read my CeledyDraw 2 review.
