Photo-realistic Vector Drawings
Friday October 20, 2006
Vector images can be resized easily without loss of quality making them an ideal format for initial design of logos and illustrations to be used at multiple sizes. However, one of the downsides of vector drawings is that they often have an artificial or mechanical appearance. But as this display of digital drawing skill demonstrates, not all vector-based artwork has to look computer-drawn (even though it is). These drawings, done primarily with software like CorelDRAW or Adobe Illustrator were submitted by visitors to About Graphics Software. The artists have varying skill levels.
