Formatting Fractions in Adobe InDesign

Wednesday October 18, 2006
While updating some links to Adobe InDesign tutorials and plug-ins I was poking around at InDesignSecrets.com. Found a PDF that makes a good companion to the fractions definitions and tutorial I posted last week. It's a PDF file that provides a chart of all the built-in fractions in the OpenType fonts that come with the Adobe Creative Suite. It describes which of the fractions in those fonts play nice with the OpenType > Fractions command of the InDesign Character palette. Take a look at the InDesignSecrets.com Guide to OpenType Fractions.

Also: InDesignSecrets.com Podcast 029 includes "How to make good-looking fractions without an OpenType Pro font."
