Brrrrr... Not a Freebie Font
Saturday October 1, 2005
Recently Robert Schenk, author of the snow-capped font Brrrrr, alerted me to the fact that his font was not a freebie but actually a commercial font that had escaped (along with some of his others) into the world of the free font sites. I promptly removed the free download link from this site but chances are that Brrrrr is still floating around out there in other free font depositories. Schenk writes, "In the early days of the internet, someone seems to have uploaded to usenet the contents of a font CD that I had done for Wayzata Technology (a company that is long gone)." If you've spotted Brrrr elsewhere, let me know and I'll pass along the information to Robert. And if you have Brrrrr on your computer and didn't purchase it, please do the right thing and either remove it or legalize your copy by purchasing a legitimate copy for only $14.95 from MyFonts.
