Andreas Pfeiffer asks Does the OS Still Matter for Graphics Pros? and the answer seems to be that the operating system might be less of a problem if the software can make up for any weaknesses in the OS. He specifically addresses and compares certain features of Apple's Tiger - their latest operating system on the horizon - with the soon-to-be-released Adobe Creative Suite 2 on the Windows platform. Comparing an operating system to a design and publishing suite is not as oddball as it might sound at first (I so want to make some joke about comparing apples to oranges...)
