13 Digit ISBNs

Foreword, a Book Design Blog, reports that by January 1, 2007 all book and book-related products must carry 13-digit ISBNs. This change will most directly affect librarians and vendors right now but if you are involved in a book publishing project you can go ahead and get started with the wew 13-digit numbers.
